With the big day nearly upon us, the RFL have issued information for Miners Rangers’ supporters ahead of the National Conference Challenge Cup Final at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, Warrington. The match against Division One title hopefuls Egremont Rangers will take place on Sunday 30th September with an 11.30am kick-off, as part of the triple-header of games which also includes the Co-operative Championship Finals (Barrow Raiders v Doncaster and Featherstone Rovers v Sheffield Eagles).
Because the game forms part of the triple header ticket prices reflect admission for all three games and unfortunately there isn’t the option to purchase a ticket just for the Miners match. Ticket prices start at £16 for adults and £8 for concessions, and the Warrington ground does include terracing (West Stand). There will be no segregation in operation for the Conference Cup game.
Supporters can purchase tickets in advance either by calling the RFL Ticket Hotline on 0844 856 1113 (9am-5pm) or online at www.rugbyleaguetickets.co.uk . Tickets will also be on sale at the Halliwell Jones Stadium ticket office on the day of the match. Please note that there are no tickets being sold from the Miners Rangers club.
There is no on-site parking at the stadium however there are plenty of private and public car parks or street parking around the ground. Please note that the Tescos supermarket car-park next to the ground is not for use by rugby traffic and is regularly patrolled on matchday.
At the final hooter no spectators including children are allowed to enter the field of play and the club will be fined heavily by the RFL if this rule is breached.
Regardless of the result, all supporters are requested to return to the Miners Welfare club after the game to welcome the players back and enjoy our hospitality.
