Leigh Miners Rangers are pleased to have Phil Marsden on board at the club as Strength & Conditioning coach. The senior teams will be using his Warrior Strength Training company to help the players reach their potential as we move to Summer Rugby.
The training methods are hardcore, old school, back to basics, no-nonsense and results driven. They are specifically tailored to rugby league. In addition his training will look to reduce the risk of injuries. Warrior Strength Training achieve this by using unconventional techniques and equipment.
The training focuses on working players bodies the way it was designed to move, therefore guaranteeing to transform them into a STRONGER, FITTER, TOUGHER and more EXPLOSIVE athletes. The equipment they are likely to includes large tyres, sledgehammers, sandbags, kegs, sleds, prowler, kettlebells along with traditional free weights and bodyweight. Warrior Strength Training has the knowledge and expertise to combine the methods and training equipment to specifically meet the needs of the club and hopefully achieve outstanding results as we prepare for the season.
