Leigh Miners travel to Yorkshire on Saturday to take on Bradford Dudley Hill in the semi-final of the NCL Challenge Cup, Kick off 2-30pm at The Neil Hunt Memorial Ground. It’s a massive game for the club as they are looking to reach their first final in four years, with the final being shown LIVE on Premier Sports all the lads are determined to get a victory and appear in front of the television cameras at the end of September at Warrington Wolves Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Miners go into the game on the back of four successive wins and have a fully fit squad to choose from after having no game last weekend because of the Challenge Cup final, it gave the lads time to rest and recover from any minor injuries or niggles ahead of a good week’s training before Saturday’s big game.

Bradford Dudley Hill are having a very good season in Division One being well on track for promotion back to the Premier Division with seven games remaining, currently sitting in second place, three points behind leaders Hunslet Warriors with a game in hand.

The second team entertain Wigan St Judes on Thursday night in the League (NWMD2), Kick off 7-30pm at Twist Lane.

Leigh Miners Ladies are away to Crosfields on Sunday in the League, Kick off 1-30pm.
