HULL DOCKERS (HOME)
Leigh Miners will be looking to bounce straight back from last weekend’s first home defeat of the season with victory over Hull Dockers at Twist Lane on Saturday in Round 14 of the NCL, Kick off 2-30pm. Only a victory will do for Miners if they want to remain in the top six, while a defeat could see them slip down to ninth. Danny Jones misses out again through injury along with Ross Bradley who misses a second successive game away on holiday, Darryl Kay is also missing, being away on International duty for the English Lions. Returning to the side should be key duo Lee Gittins and Martin Lewis having missed last week’s defeat against Myton due to injury, Martin Gray also comes back into contention having returned from holiday. Hull Dockers go into Saturday’s match on the back of a big 64-0 victory against Oulton Raiders last weekend and will be looking to complete a league double over Miners having won 23-16 on the opening day of the season at The Willows.
The Second team are away on Saturday to Wigan St Judes in the League (NWMD2), Kick off 2-30pm at Parsons Meadow.
Leigh Miners Ladies are also away on Sunday to West Craven Warriors, Kick off 1-30pm.
