Leigh Miners take on Myton Warriors on Saturday in Round 13 as the National Conference League reaches the half-way point of the season, Kick off 2-30pm at Twist Lane. It’s another big game for Miners with Myton sitting a place below them on the ladder in fourth but with all the lads buzzing after last weekend’s late derby victory against Wigan St Pats they will be looking to stretch their unbeaten run at home this year to seven matches with victory over Myton and keep the pressure on at the top of the table. Ross Bradley and Martin Lewis are the only changes from last week’s seventeen with Ross being away on holiday and Martin being injured, forwards Craig Connor and Danny Jackson coming into the side in their place. Myton will be travelling to Twist Lane for the first time on Saturday and they will be coming full of confidence on the back of three big wins in the last month and a week’s rest after last week’s game at Thatto Heath was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The second team will be looking to build on last week’s win at Rochdale Mayfield with another victory on the road against Wigan Spring View, Kick off 2-30pm.

The u18s return to action on Sunday with a tough trip to St Helens to take on Thatto Heath Crusaders in the Conference Youth League, Kick off 1-30pm

Leigh Miners Ladies played on Wednesday night, losing 18-8 away at Wigan St Pats.
