Leigh Miners make the trip down the M62 to Humberside on Saturday to take on West Hull in Round 14 of the NCL, Kick off 2-30pm at West Hull Community Park.

Miners travel to Hull on the back of three successive home victories a run that has helped them pull six points clear of the bottom three and only two points off a top six spot. Saturday will be surely a tough test but it’s one all the lads are looking forward too as they aim to continue their good run of form and pick up their second away win of the season. West Hull are the only side to win at Twist Lane this year having won convincingly 36-18 at the beginning of May, producing a strong attacking performance and being much more hungrier than Miners to pick up the two points, that is something Miners are keen on reversing on Saturday as they look to keep on improving week on week with strong enthusiastic defensive efforts along with playing fast expansive attacking rugby.

Coaches Allan Coleman and Paul Whitworth have only Kev Howells unavailable from last week with the prop missing out due to a fractured eye socket, other than that the other sixteen players will all be looking to keep their place in the side along with Jonny Carroll Lee Gittins Chris Slater and John Woods who are all available for selection and looking for a place in the matchday seventeen.

West Hull go into the game on the back of four successive victories to leave them in fifth position in the league and having already beaten Miners at Twist Lane in May they will be confident of picking up another two points to strengthen their position in the top six.
