Conference Challenge Cup Draw Throws Up Local Derby
The second round draw for the Conference Challenge Cup handed Miners another away draw, this time at local rivals Leigh East.
The draw was conducted at Saddleworth Rangers on Saturday evening and saw the Leigh sides paired in the pick of the second round ties. Miners will be looking to avenge their league setback at the Sports Village in April when they make the short journey, with the tie scheduled for Saturday 14th July.
