Leigh Miners will be looking to increase their recent winning run to four matches on Saturday when an inform West Hull visit Twist Lane in Round 9 of the NCL, Kick off 2-30pm. Wests will travel to Leigh full of confidence having won their last seven matches racking up five straight league victories to sit them in third on the ladder with Ince Rose Bridge and Wigan St Pats above them with only points difference separating all three teams, and two impressive cup wins against East Hull and last weekend away against NCL Interim Champions Hunslet Warriors winning 22-14. It’s sure to be Miners toughest test to date but with themselves hitting abit of form in recent weeks and the return of captain Scott O’Brien after missing last weekends cup game at St Judes they will be confident of picking up another home victory to move them up a place to third or even higher depending on the results of Bridge and Pats.

The second team travel to St Helens on Saturday when they take on Bold Miners in the league, kick off 2-30pm. Both teams go into the game unbeaten having won all three of their league games this season.

Leigh Miners Ladies travel down the M62 on Sunday to take on Widnes Vikings, Kick off 2pm.

The u18s are also on the road on Sunday when they travel to Wales to take on North Wales Crusaders in the Conference Youth League, Kick off 1-30pm.
