Leigh Miners Rangers Announce Coaching & Development Co-ordinator
Leigh Miners Rangers is pleased to formally announce the appointment of Paul Arnison to the role of Girls & Women’s Coaching & Development Co-ordinator.
The role will see Paul involved in a wide array of development areas within the club. Paul arrives with a wealth of experience, knowledge and ambition in the Women’s & Girls game that will strive to build on the trail-blazing work of the Women’s team, the formation of our new girls sides and development of the new coaching team.
Speaking on his appointment:
“I am delighted to have been offered the opportunity by Miners in what is a really exciting time for the Women and Girls game with the rapid expansion it is currently undergoing. I am looking forward to working with all of the coaches and staff in the u12s, u14s, u16s and Open Age as we work together to make sure each age group is as strong as possible and developing the pathway for girls from u11s into open age rugby.I am also happy to have brought a very experienced coach to work alongside me in Nigel Johnson who has a massive amount of experience in the Women’s game having previously coached with England Women as part of an extensive coaching CV.”
