Leigh Miners Rangers Women’s team are delighted to announce the renewal of principle sponsor AB Sundecks. Over the coming weeks we will be introducing you to all our club partners but today we would like to showcase the Women’s Team Sponsor.
The 2017 season marked a proud milestone for the women’s team as the campaign saw the first ever graduates from the newly-established girls team experience open age rugby. This generous sponsorship allows the women to continue to play at the top of their sport against professional clubs and develop this unique trailblazer pathway for girls. Interest and publicity in the women’s game has increased dramatically recently and the club is proud to be associated with such a supporter of the game and the wider community, AB Sundecks.
We are so pleased to be able to commit our sponsorship to the women’s team again this year, it is important to us not only as a business but as a family, to support our local sporting clubs. Obviously we are massive advocates of rugby league but we recognise the importance of sporting teams throughout the community as places to be active and healthy but also places of companionship, comradery and support. Young people join teams from all different backgrounds but when they go out to play on game day, no matter the sport, none of this matters, they play as equal and in support of each other 100% and therein make friendships for life helping them and supporting them as the mature into young adults.
