METHLEY ROYALS (HOME)
Leigh Miners play their first game of 2013 on Saturday when they take on Methley Royals in the First round of the BARLA National Cup, Kick off 2pm at Manchester Road (junior section) due to the Twist Lane pitch currently undergoing some maintenance work before the start of the NCL season which begins at the beginning of March.
With large numbers down training at the club during pre-season a mixture of first, second and u18s players from last year will play in Saturdays first hit out all looking to impress and put themselves into contention for a place in the seventeen against Siddal on the opening day of the new league season.
Methley Royals are currently top of the Pennine League first division winning twelve of their thirteen matches
