WIGAN ST PATS (AWAY)
Leigh Miners make the short trip across the borough on Saturday afternoon when they take on local rivals Wigan St Pats at Clarington Park in the penultimate round of the NCL Interim Season, Kick Off is at the earlier time of 1pm so the game does not clash with the England v Wales Four Nations encounter. Miners go into the fixture on the back of three successive wins their best run of the short season but know they will have to be at their best on Saturday if they are to return to Leigh with the two points as they take on an in form Wigan St Pats side who are way ahead of the other four teams in Group B having won nine of their ten matches. When the two teams met at Twist Lane in Round 3 St Pats run out comfortable 26-0 winners.
