Miners Rangers Alliance side marched on unbeaten in the league with a resounding 62-12 win over Accrington in East Lancashire, Adam Thomas with three tries and Charles Tyson with two, plus 3 goals. Harry Gagen also grabbed a brace with further touchdowns for Ian Jolley, Garry Fitzmartin, Dave Woods and Jonny Carroll. Scott Travis kicked the remaining goals. This Saturday the team entertain Leyland as the first match in a double-header at Twist Lane, 1pm kick off.
The under-18s recorded a fine win on the road at Woolston 30-12 despite missing a number of players with holiday commitments. Chris Worrall landed a hat-trick with other tries from Phil McGloughlan and A King, Zac Fagan with the goals.
