Lloyd Pugsley Memorial Trophy Announced
Leigh Miners Rangers Reserves and Leigh East Reserves will face each other in memory of Lloyd Pugsley. Lloyd, who was significantly involved coaching and volunteering at both Miners and Leigh East, was a larger than life character and is sorely missed by everyone in Leigh’s rugby league community.
The game will be contested annually and this will ensure his memory is kept alive. The Pugsley family have a strong association with both clubs, Stuart now on the Miners coaching staff and son’s Lee and Scott also playing their rugby within the Miner’s ranks.
The game will be played at Leigh East on Saturday the 28th Feb 2:30pm KO. This will be a great opportunity for the Leigh community to show their support and there will be a small gate charge that will go to a Charity chosen members of the family.
More details of the day will follow…
