Leigh Miners Rangers are pleased to launch a Past Players’ Association ahead of the start of the 2019 season. Having celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2016 with the publication of a club history the club have continued to celebrate their Heritage Day on an annual basis with the 2019 event focussing on the 20th anniversary of the Challenge Cup upset of Bramley.

Ahead of then the club are inviting all past players, volunteers and coaches who are interested in becoming part of the Association to contact them either through the website form, email [ openage@leighminersrangers.club ] or by speaking to Mick Fairhurst or Jeff Gorse on matchday.

The Association membership will include a copy of the club history and an invitation to the Heritage Day in August to receive an heritage number as well as a newsletter and opportunity to get involved in developments at Twist Lane.

We hope to work together to offer further opportunities as the membership grows. Over the years players, coaches and volunteers have made some lifelong memories and friendships and this initiative will bring these together as well as helping the club continue to progress.
