Miners Rangers Join Forces With Think Ahead
Miners Rangers have joined forces with local group Think Ahead Community Stroke Group to raise awareness of the importance of sport, healthy lifestyles and physical activity in helping prevent stroke and other causes of mortality. The Think Ahead group already enjoy a long-standing partnership with the Miners Rangers juniors and Leigh Centurions, and now the senior section is throwing its weight behind the cause. The 2012 summer kit features the Think Ahead logo and there will be regular articles in all first team match programmes. Watch out for more announcements of our partnership working over the course of the season.
At the unveiling of the new kit in the first home game of the season against Ince Rose Bridge, Miners’ coaches Paul Whitworth and Allan Coleman and captain Scott O’Brien were joined by Mike Aspinall, Carol Sankey and David Winstanley from the Think Ahead group.
