Leigh Miners will be looking to build on last weekend’s morale boosting win against Ince Rose Bridge with another victory on Saturday when they welcome a relegation threatened Oulton Raiders side to Twist Lane in Round 16 of the NCL, Kick off 2-30pm. After a solid performance last weekend Miners will be looking to have a similar display this Saturday on home soil and kick on in the second half of the season after their form stuttered a few weeks ago with back to back home defeats. Liam Coleman and Ryan Ravenscroft are both unavailable being away on holiday and young Josh Ward is playing for Leigh Centurions u18s. Jonny Carroll, Craig Connor, Martin Lewis and Shaun Marsh all come back into contention after missing the Ince game. Oulton are currently sitting next to bottom in the table and go into the game on the back of an excellent 18-16 home victory against Myton Warriors last weekend.

The Second team are away on Saturday to Haresfinch in the league (NWMD2), Kick off 2-30pm.

It’s derby day on Sunday for the Ladies when they go over the canal to take on Leigh East, Kick off 1-30pm.

The u18s have a free weekend.
