Semi Final Home Draw
The draw for the semi final of the RFL Conference Challenge Trophy took place on Tuesday afternoon, with Miners reward for beating local rivals Wigan St Pats being another home tie against Thornhill Trojans in the last four on Saturday 8th August at Twist Lane.
Thornhill have this year returned to the NCL, currently sitting in second position in Division Three. The Trojans will be very tough opposition next month, with everyone at Miners knowing they will certainly have to play very well if they are to make it through to their third final in four years.
The other semi final is a mouth watering Cumbrian derby between Wath Brow Hornets and Egremont Rangers. The winners of these two ties making it through to The 2015 RFL Conference Challenge Trophy Final, scheduled to be played at The Select Security Stadium, Widnes, on Sunday October 4.
