Leigh Miners make the short trip across the borough on Saturday to take on local rivals Ince Rose Bridge in Round 15 of the NCL, Kick off 2pm at Pinfold Street. After two successive home defeats which has seen Miners drop out of the top six a first away league win of the season is a must if they want to stay in the mix of a playoff spot, victory over Rose Bridge would complete a league double over their Wigan rivals having won 32-18 at Twist Lane back in Round 2, if Miners are to achieve that they know they will have to improve after two poor performances over the last couple of week. Coaches Allan Coleman and Paul Whitworth make four changes from last week’s seventeen with Jimmy Muir dropping out along with Craig Connor & Mike Evans who are away on holiday and Second Rower Shaun Marsh who misses out with an eye injury, Coming into the side are Ross Bradley, Darryl Kay, Jonny Lloyd and young halfback Josh Ward. Ince themselves go into the game on the back of two successive defeats which has seen them drop from joint top to third.
