Leigh Miners travel to Humberside on Saturday to take on top of the table West Hull in Round 22 of the NCL, Kick off 2-30pm at West Hull Community Park. Miners go into the game on the back of five successive victories the most recent being last weekend’s 19-6 Challenge Cup semi-final win against Bradford Dudley Hill. Saturday will surely be a tough test with West Hull being top of the tree, but it’s a test Miners are looking forward to as they look to pick up another two points to keep them on track for a top six finish and become the first Miners side for many a year to get a win at West Hull.

Wests have been in very good form of late and will be looking to gain revenge on their visitors after being beaten 38-0 at Twist Lane back in May. Coaches Allan Coleman & Paul Whitworth are forced into three changes from last week’s team, Ross Bradley (work), Darryl Kay (wedding) and John Woods (injured) all missing out with Jonny Carroll, Ste Kenny & Josh Ward replacing them in the seventeen.

The second team are at home on Saturday to Haresfinch in the League, Kick off 2-30pm at Twist Lane.

Leigh Miners Ladies are also at home on Sunday against Widnes Vikings, Kick off 2pm at Twist Lane.
