Tony Thornbury RIP
Miners Rangers are saddened to learn of the recent passing of Tony Thornbury, former referee who for many years organised the referee appointments for the Champions Challenge, bringing the likes of the Connolly brothers, Steve Ganson, Ben Thaler and Stuart Cummins down to referee fixtures in the annual tournament. Tony was a great friend to the club and everyone at Miners Rangers sends their condolences to his family.
Tony’s funeral is Thursday 25th February 2.20pm at Walton Lea Crematorium in Warrington.
